Please run this command in Terminal (copy and paste it):
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/\
LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -dump \
| grep --before-context=1 --after-context=32 -F GrowlHelperApp.app \
| bzip2 > ~/GrowlHelperApps-$USER.lsdump.bz2
(All four lines are *one* command.)
Then send us the file that it created in your Home folder.
