Hi, I tried to find a way to recover the growl logs... at some point I tried installing http://web.media.mit.edu/~jkestner/software/
I don't know for sure that that was the moment where it started to behave funny, but now I can't use the growl pref pane anymore: it shows "loading growl" in prefs pane for a while and then it crashes. I tried removing growl using the provided Uninstall growl.app, then reinstalling, but no success there either. I'm running snow leopard on a recent macbook pro.
