I don't think we should do this. I think the video does show other things
which would be nice to have (the sound volume increase was great). However,
what you're suggesting here would require that we:

1) Change one of the base behaviors of Growl that's been in place for years.
2) Basically get rid of clicking (you mention this).
3) Have to retrain our users who are used to current behavior.

I did an informal poll in #ubuntu on freenode, and at least 1 user said he
hated this, simply because it causes the notification to stay on the screen
longer.
