I was hoping the new 1.2.2 version of GrowlMail would fix this, but
alas, it hasn't.

My Mail program hangs as I'm downloading mail because of Growl. The
culprit is my Gmail accounts, in which Growl not only displays all the
mail going into my inbox, but it shows all the mail that's being
downloaded into all of the IMAP folders that GMail creates in Mail.
Mail will get hung while it's trying to parse mail that is going into
those folders. There's a fix to get around it, which is to turn on
the feature of only displaying mail that is going into my inbox. But,
in doing that, I don't get to see the messages that go into the
folders from my other mail accounts that I've set rules for.

I've got two computers running all the same software and similar
specs; one of them has that feature turned on (my work computer) so
that I only display mail going into my inbox and not into any other
folders (which hurts me at work, but I'd rather not have mail hang),
and my home computer has the feature not enabled. My home computer
hangs, my work computer never does. This is the isolator; it has
issues with these folders on IMAP accounts (or just GMail, but I
haven't tested it further to see if another IMAP account has the same
issue).

Can this and will this be fixed? It gets very frustrating to wait for
Growl just to see my mail when Mail has finished doing what it is
supposed to, but Growl is not and makes Mail wait for it…

Thanks!!!
