Okay - did that. Also unchecked the "Show Dropbox notifications (using Growl) box in the Dropbox preferences.
Hope that's all I need to do. Not that I didn't like Growl - I loved it. But it's a work computer and I was getting stinkeye from the boss. ;) Thanks for all your help.
