That's what I thought. That has nothing to do with forwarding—you sent it 
directly to the MacBook, bypassing Growl on the Mac mini entirely.

I'm not sure what box you're referring to. The box labeled “Forward 
notifications to other computers” is off by default, but you said you turned it 
on (and also checked the box next to your MacBook).
