Sparrow is broken but they are working on a fix for it. We've been in contact with them.
One of the Trillian folks actually helped with Growl 1.3 framework. :) GrowlTunes was never built into Growl. It'll be a separate entry in the app store once done. So if you do have GrowlTunes already, make sure it's the latest version that came with 1.2.2. If not, download the Growl 1.2.2 disk image, and then go to the Extras folder and grab GrowlTunes.
