Well, to give you a more detailed account of my issue, I have Mac OS 10.7.2 and Growl 1.3.1. Growl shows the four applications that work with it, but only sometimes am I alerted to things. It seems like dropbox sometimes notifies me, but Spotify and iTunes aren't showing it.
