Could a setting be added so that after a set amount of inactivity, the following takes effect: 1) any new notifications that would be logged are left one the screen 2) after a set number of notifications are on the screen, when a new notification that would be logged appears, that notification and all others would be removed from the screen and put in the rollup, which would automatically appear at that point.
For example: you set the inactivity time to 10 minutes, and the number of notifications that stay on the screen before the rollup to 3. You then leave you computer for more than ten minutes. If you have growlmail and have enabled logging, the first three emails you receive after this point will remain on screen. When you receive a fourth email, or any other logging notification, all four notifications will be added to the rollup, the rollup will appear, and the three email notifications that were left on screen will disappear.
