Same here. Growl 1.3.1 on MBP Quad I7 2.3/8GB RAM. Growl spikes CPU to 110% sometimes AND uses up to 400 MB Real Memory. I need to force quit the process and restart Growl to get it back to normal. It does this every few days at least. Actually the most annoying thing to me is the fact that it's consistently using up to 400 MB Real Memory (sometimes higher). I even have the default notifications set, nothing fancy.
