i have run the uninstaller of old versions, removed the latest version, removed all residual library files, removed from start up items. reinstalled the latest version. now i have no applications to choose and notifications continue to pop up in top right corner and just as they were as if i never uninstalled and never updated. its really screwy. growl refuses to accept the preferences i set and refuses to be removed i suppose. i tell growl to appear in a new default location with new skin, but still, old location, old skin. again, like i never updated and never uninstalled. 2 bucks wasted and a lot of time. seriously, what gives?
