I sure that's it's very disheartening for the developers of Growl to see 
such large volumes of negativity for the paid version of what was 
previously a much lauded and appreciated free app.

Devs, you had a great product, but the fine ideas you had for the app store 
version just don't seem to be loved. To keep this simple, let me just say 
I'd still happily pay your price if you killed the rollup and went back to 
the some of the old ways. Example - one very important reason that *Stay on 
Screen after 30 Seconds* was better, is because it was more visual. You 
could have Mail styles, DropBox styles, Tweet styles and you could know 
what was going on from across the room. Not so with the rollup.

Think about it - your customers are letting you know what we want.
