I installed Growl 1.3.2 for Lion on a clean Lion install hard drive. It works, but it gives a "basso" alert every time there is new mail. I look at the preferences and there is no mail in the list. I did see GowlMail but it is not enabled. I do have SpamSieve, but have checked it's settings for notification and sound is OFF. Besides, if I do turn on a sound it is separate from the alert for new mail.
