I upgraded the framework on all the apps I wanted to get Growl notifications from to 1.3 using Growl Version Detective. GVD showed me more apps than Growl did when I opened it the first time. After upgrading the framework, I shutdown Growl, opened it again and the apps with the upgraded framework showed up. Still no messages from Growl.
