Hello, forgive me in advance if I do something wrong in this group. I just came to try and find out how to fix HardwareGrowler, which hasn't been working since I updated my Macbook Pro (late 2008 Unibody with 8 GB RAM, 750 GB HDD) to OS X 10.7.4 a week or two ago.
If I try to use HardwareGrowler, it never runs, and I can see in Activity Monitor and the CPU monitor in iStats that every 30 seconds to a minute (that's how long it feels; I haven't timed it) there's a largish spike in CPU activity for a few seconds as the crashes get logged. I have attached one of the many crash log files for HardwareGrowler. I tried installing the update from the App Store, thinking that might fix things, but I was blocked by an error message telling me to sign in to the account that I bought HardwareGrowler with... I tried both my accounts and got the same error. So I uninstalled all of HardwareGrowler in AppZapper, and App Store finally allowed me to install the latest version with no hassle... Except HardwareGrowler still crashes. I'd appreciate any help fixing HardwareGrowler! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
