Probably once a day, Growl 1.4 gets up to about 100% CPU usage. I have to
force quit it. I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.4.

I'm a developer running a Rails stack with Guard. Guard is using the `growl
(1.0.3)` RubyGem for interacting with Growl. I don't think Guard is going
haywire; otherwise I would expected to (a) see tons of notifications and
(b) see the guard process bloated or non-responsive. I think the problem is
with Growl, based on inspecting with Activity Monitor.

I cleared out all the custom styles I had installed, just to be safe. I'm
going to try to disable History for now to see if the problem reoccurs. I
can't think of any other significant preference changes.

1. In the short term, can you share how to do a full uninstall? Is it as
simple as removing Growl from the Applications folder? I will try
reinstalling.

2. If you want a more detailed report, please share the process you want me
to follow, and I'll snapshot for you.
