Hi, I'm trying to get GrowlNotify installed and I think the package is broken somehow. This is what I get in the console when double clicking the .pkg : 7/29/12 5:31:12.457 AM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[223]: ([0x0-0xce4ce4].com.apple.installer[85511]) Exited: Killed: 9 This is the link I get for downloading: http://growl.cachefly.net/GrowlNotify-1.3.zip
I tried to unpack it and then run growlnotify.pkg or growlnotify-1.pkg from the unpacked files and I get this: “growlnotify-1.pkg” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. (same for both) This happens with Growl running and not. Growl version: 1.4 GrowlNotify downloaded version: 1.3 OS X Version: 10.8 Can the pkg be damaged? and the link being a bad cache?
