That is unfortunately a really old bug that the twitter people just have never fixed. I don't see them fixing it if they haven't fixed it in years, but who knows.
Growl only displays what it is told to display, so it's a twitter app problem. There are other twitter apps that support Growl though. :) Chris On Tue, Aug 7, 2012 at 12:19 PM, flatfeet <[email protected]> wrote: > Every time when I launch twitter I got all these private messages, total > "new" tweets and mentions counter. > > The problem is that they're outdated and I saw them already many times. > > All I want to see is really new tweets in my notifications. > > Is that something wrong with Growl or Twitter settings? > > Growl 1.4 > Mac OSX 10.7.4 > > > <https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-k5S4hjgEaqw/UCFLCE-0xwI/AAAAAAAAADA/UuKXD_hsJc0/s1600/Screen+Shot+2012-08-07+at+20.59.05+copy.png> > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Growl Discuss" group. > To view this discussion on the web visit > https://groups.google.com/d/msg/growldiscuss/-/oqbaylUCJ6YJ. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/growldiscuss?hl=en. > -- Chris Forsythe @The_Tick <http://twitter.com/The_Tick> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Growl Discuss" group.
