I'm having the same problem.  I purchased it through the Icelandic store 
and thought that mayhaps the new update wasn't available there.  But it 
probably is some other problem.  Datacenter problem mayhaps?

I already tried to contact Apple support. They immediately closed the case. 
 Has anyone tried contacting Apple Support on the phone.
