This is a pretty trivial question, but I've already wasted about an hour trying to figure out how to display a damn link from Perl or PHP. The recommended Perl module, Growl::GNTP<http://search.cpan.org/dist/Growl-GNTP/>, doesn't support that.
Looks like I have to create a custom display. Really? Okay, whatever. The closest I've come to is "How to create a Webkit-based Growl style<http://growl.info/documentation/webkit.php>", but the example there doesn't cater to Windows. The path for deploying a custom display should probably be %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Growl\2.0.0.0\Displays\, but I've unpacked the example there and Growl didn't pick it up.
