How does one place new programs under Growl's control? The preferences show which applications are enabled in Growl, but I see no way of adding more. Although Growl appears in the menu bar (though not in the dock), the drop-down menu does not address this issue. I'd like to connect my email program to Growl so that I get a notification of a new email message when one is available. I'd also like to know when a download completes, but I do not see the download manager in the list of enabled programs.
