It should be showing up, theres nothing special that you should have to do, but there might be a bug that caused it to not load the preferences pane. Can you do the following: Quit Growl Open Console.app Launch Growl Open the display preferences tab and select the sound action. Look in Console.app for any messages that might relate to not loading the sound pane
