Even though I don't need your drivemap at all (see one of my replies to Marco's ATA topic) I was so kind to try this out with my Vista x64 SP1 ;) I haven't remembered exactly the 2 menuentrys you wrote in your mail so I used a mixture of both :) drivemap (hd1) (hd0) set root=(hd0) chainloader (hd1,1)+1 This booted fine for me, GRUB loaded from IDE disk and Vista chainloaded from my SATA RAID 0.
