I am building like this since 2017 and I had no problem. Is i386-pe no longer an accepted target when using 2.04rc1 ?
Here you can find the different target and platforms that I try to build: https://github.com/supergrub/supergrub/blob/grub2.04/grub-build-003-build-all#L83 . I only reported here the "i386-pe target + pc platform" combination just to keep things simple. Everyone of my other target/platform combinations fail at the 'make' stage too. adrian15 -- Support free software. Donate to Super Grub Disk. Apoya el software libre.
