Hi All, I have added a link to my weekly updates from the overview section.
I started with with making a dictionary DB for my application (listen-spell) which was actually breaking the wordnet dictionary DB to something just useful for listen-spell. The DB was in SQL format which was also required to be converted to SQLite format. Using the DB and talkntype application as the start base I developed the v1.0 of the application (command line version) with limited features only and committed to git today :). Right now its almost same as talkntype with SQLite support, few added features and few more bugs. I have shifted my focus towards the pronunciation of the words and the voice quality (which would be I suppose the toughest part of the project). For this i am exploring few pronunciation dictionary and its compatibility with espeak. I have maintained all my update details at: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/User:Assim.deodia On Fri, Jun 20, 2008 at 10:23, Samuel Klein <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Dear interns and SoC / summer project participants -- > > This is a reminder to write a weekly update about your projects, and a > few-line summary of important or interesting points that you'd like others > to know about.
