Hi Edzer, Thanks for seeing this through.. I ran the veryclean command and reinstalled as you suggested. I still did not get the grass libraries. I then thought that maybe the problem is not with the gstat but the grass so I changed the permissions on the grass libraries to rwx (turned them green) I then ran the ./configure --with-grass command again, and saw the make file look into the grass5/include files (this had not happened before..) I then GRASS> gstat -v and there still were no grass libraries.
I then got frustrated and destroyed my grass CVS version and reinstalled the grass5 linux binaries and the gstat linux binaries (2.4.0).. I get the gstat binary but no configure script.. So, I placed the gstat binary into the /usr/local/bin directory with the grass5 and the grass5install binaries. I then ran the gstat -v in grass again and still NOTHING!! I am totally at a loss! help.. I have a paper due in 4 weeks.. Thanks, Stef --- "Edzer J. Pebesma" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > stef wrote: > > >Dear Edzer, > >Thank you for helping me with this.
