This is kumar from india. I am currently studying on gst plugin
writing for our hardware accelerated video audio decoding. I would like you to
give work involved in that. since this gstreamer framework is entirely new to
me.
I will explain my current situation.
We have hnsource which streams data from server and gives to us. We have
to use this data for demultiplex into audio and video TS Packets using hardware
demultiplexer, and decode the audio video again using hardware accelerated
audio/video decoders. so here we have souphttpsrc plugin which takes care of
streaming from server. but we only have hardwares for demulitplexer, A/V
decoders. so i believe we have to write plugins for each one.
Could you please tell me what are the difficulties and work involved in
this? how long approximately it will take to complete this job for writing
plugins for demuxer, audio and video decoders?
