We're using GDTE provided by University of Marburg to develop Web Services for process data processing. An important advantage for us is the fact, that we don't have to leave our well-known IDE. The approach of using Java annotations produces almost no overhead e.g. for learning some kind of description syntax or
dealing with configuration dialogs.
Furthermore GDTE never presents itself as a black-box which hides absolutely everything from the user. It allows to access everything, WSDL, configuration files and Java code at any time. So experienced developers have room for extending the generated code by custom parts and complex features which can't be generated or included automatically. We're looking forward to future releases and much more useful features to support our daily work with WSRF-compliant Web Services for Globus.

Regards, Thomas.
