Up to date, I do not really now if they are two independent index services or if they are related each other. Besides, there is a IndexServiceFactory but there isn't a DefaultIndexServiceFactory. So, I suppose that the DefaultIndexService is a singleton and the IndexServiceFactory isn't. However, I saw that the DefaultIndexService has a destroy operation in its operation set. I think that all the information can be found in the documentation, we have to read carefully.
