Can you explain it in detail? I 've check the corresponding configurations, but I didn't find anything wrong? Thank you very much! ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[email protected]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2007 2:22 PM Subject: AW: [gt-user]Problem with configuration of Gridftp on the second machine!
Hi, I think Yongxing Luo forgot to add the entries to /etc/services on the host(s?), or the GridFTP Daemon is not started properly (xinetd or directly). I'd check the output of "lsof -i", netstat, telnet to the GridFTP Port or so and make shure that the GridFTP daemon is working, and the port name gets translated correctly. Yongxing: Make sure that the /etc/hosts file is configured properly for both hosts (hostname1 and hostname2 in your example) and that you get the proper response when, for example, typing "hostname" on each of these machines.
