I don't see any API for singleton persistence. The XMLPersistenceHelper uses the key to generate a unique file name, so maybe the API can be abstracted some to allow for use with a user defined key. But as of now, I don't see any suitable utility for use. It looks like it expects the resources to have keys. It the resource is a singleton it does not have a key, or not likely. Is there a preferred way, in ws-core, to persist singletons so that they can survive and container shutdown.
