Hi

You can notice there are 2 sections in the commnad. (or) in a file transfer we
have source and target. First one is source , here in this case
gsiftp://choate.mcs.anl.gov/etc/group ==> in this gsiftp means - we are using
gsiftp protocal to connect server choate.mcs.anl.gov server to access file
/etc/group in that server.
And target is file:///tmp/bacon.test.copy => is copying to local system (or the
system where you are issuing the command) and file is copied to /tmp directory
as bacon.test.copy .

hi

thanks for the help. Could you actually tell what does this command mean :

% globus-url-copy gsiftp://choate.mcs.anl.gov/etc/group
file:///tmp/bacon.test.copy

I mean i know that "choate.mcs.anl.gov" is the OU afta Simple-CA.
But if some one could exactly tell what the syntax is ?

Thanks
