[gt-user] about the certificate that globus needs (newbie in globus)

Hi,

The server in which I installed globus does not have a certificate 
emited by a CA.  I read that there is a tool in globus that can generate 
the certificate but is only for testing and is only recommended as the 
last option.  I am planning to generate a self-signed SSL certificate 
and register it in apache.  Is this the best way to proceed, or should I 
try to generate the certificate for  tomcat?.  Does globus work with 
apache or tomcat or with both?.  Can somebody guide me with this.  I've 
never generated a certificate by myself, I remembered buying and 
configuring one from VeriSign for a finantial institition some years ago 
and it was very straight forward.
