Hi,the fix works as expected. It is a simple matter of unpacking the CA package, editing the Makefile.in and packing again the directory. I know I can do it without the GPT package, but some people actually prefer to install the CA package.
Thank you again.

Two things: 1) The || done fix will work2) You only need to distribute your .0 and .signing_policy files to make trust work. If you want to make grid-cert-request work, you additionally need the *ssl.conf* files. Those are easy enough to distribute without the GPT package. So there will never be a need to start from scratch with a new CA. I will try using the binary distribution until we sort this out.Well, to be honest, the problem may just be trying to use a SimpleCA package created by 4.0 with 4.2. I'll check it out, but it does not sound like there is anything wrong with your install from source. I'll check out the simpleCA package to see if that's the problem.CharlesI see. But many people will be certainly on the same boat: how can I migrate my CA packages to the new GT release? I can not of course simply revoke all of the issued certificates, build new CA packages and reissue new certificates... ;-)Massimo -- *******************************************************************************************************Massimo Cafaro, Ph.D. Additional affiliations: Assistant Professor National Nanotechnology Laboratory (NNL/CNR-INFM) Dept. of Engineering for Innovation Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Climate ChangeUniversity of Salento, Lecce, Italy SPACI Consortium Via per Monteroni 73100 Lecce, Italy Voice +39 0832 297371 Fax +39 0832 298173 Web http://sara.unile.it/~cafaro E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] *******************************************************************************************************
