Some of those are easier than others. In principle, the answer is
yes, but the details are probably not as nice as you would hope. Just
to mention, the Virtual Data Toolkit actually runs the Globus Toolkit
also, so that interoperability is trivial.
There was a two-year project called OMII-Europe that worked on
interoperability between Globus, gLite, UNICORE, OMII-UK, and the
CROWN system from China. They have a number of papers you can
download at http://omii-europe.org/OMII-Europe/downloads.html
With regards to the gatekeeper/jobmanager, you can achieve some
success there. The Open Science Grid has some level of compatibility
with LCG's gLite software, I believe, and they use the Virtual Data
Toolkit. The OMII-Europe stuff has some examples of using OGSA-BES
for interoperable job submission between the webservices stacks, but
that is to some extent incomplete, and does not really address the
integrated file staging features.

Hello!
I have a Grid with Globus Toolkit installed.
Is Globus able to communicate with other Grid middleware (Nordugrid,
Virtual Data Toolkit, gLite etc) in order to unite a Grid system
with GT and
another Grid system with different from GT middleware?
Can I submit a job from my Grid with GT, and this job will be
completed on other Grid with, for example, gLite?
Is it possible to control a job was submited from GT Grid and is
being executed on gLite Grid via GT Grid?
Thank you
