We would like to have a GridFTP server in IBM AIX machine but found in Globus documentation that only Visual Age C/C++ is supported to compile Globus Toolkit and gcc isn't supported (http://www.globus.org/toolkit/docs/4.0/admin/docbook/ch03.html#s-platfo rm-aix) Can give some more information why there is that problem with gcc? If we would like to compile GridFTP only using gcc will we have any issues? Any help is appreciated! Thank you.
