Many thanks, that was the problem :) so: solved.
(It seems that this problem [sometimes] happens when I use
"globus-start-container-detached".. maybe it's a bug in either
globus-stop-container-detached or arises when container is killed... I
suggest putting a garbage collector in globus-start-container[-detached] to
remove any state information left behind after previous run)
