Hi All, Its evident that, if we add a <downstream> ( or <upstream>) entry in $GLOBUS_LOCATION/etc/globus_wsrf_mds_index/hierarchy.xml in GT4, the MDS index service would fetch from ( or publish to) the information with respect the EPR of specified <downstream> (or <upstream>) entry.
We would like to know the possibility of instructing the index service to Selectively fetch the info from a list of specified <downstream> (or <upstream>) entries in $GLOBUS_LOCATION/etc/globus_wsrf_mds_index/hierarchy.xml file. For example in a hierarchy.xml, I have two <downstream> entries like, <!---------------- begin --> <downstream>https://test1.ctsf.cdac.org.in:8443/wsrf/services/DefaultIndexService</downstream> <downstream>https://test2.ctsf.cdac.org.in:8443/wsrf/services/DefaultIndexService</downstream> <!---------------- end --> In the above scenario, is it possible to instruct the index service to fetch info from "test2.ctsf.cdac.org.in" if it finds that "test1.ctsf.cdac.org.in" has failed.
