HiThe globus-usr-copy works between grid1 and grid2 in this subnet for both PUT and GET using either one as client or server of GridFTP, i.e. all combinations.
However, apparently the GridFTP PUT coming in from outside fails with this error:
sis:~ gmehta$ globus-url-copy file:///tmp/amt.log gsiftp://grid2.ramscommunity.org/tmp/foobar error: globus_ftp_control: gss_init_sec_context failed GSS Major Status: Unexpected Gatekeeper or Service Nameglobus_gsi_gssapi: Authorization denied: The name of the remote host (grid2.ramscommunity.org), and the expected name for the remote host (137.111.246.176) do not match. This happens when the name in the host certificate does not match the information obtained from DNS and is often a DNS configuration problem.
This subnet has not configured the reverse look up due to the proper arrangement not in place as to the reverse lookup delegation between the DNS servers of the upstream and this subnet domain.
Do you think that this could be the cause of the problem? If it is, is there a work around to fix the problem or do I need to fix the reverse look up?
