We are happy to make available a GRAM V5 *Beta* 1 version for testing.

GRAM5 is now feature complete and ready for the upcoming GT 5.0.0
release which will be coming out shortly.
New features in this Beta1 release:
* New Job Manager logging implementation
Using the CEPDS logging format (http://www.cedps.net/index.php/LoggingBestPractices
)
Can now distinguish log message for each jobs
Make it possible to rotate the log files safely
Reduce the amount of information written, while improve ability to
debug and identify problems
* Usage statistics implementation
Each job will send a usage packet to the Globus collector
* Improved compatibility with Condor-G when job managers are restarted
* Improved documentation for the GRAM5 command-line tools
* Improved installation for LRMs
Added Make targets for LRM adapters. e.g. make gram5-pbs; or make
gram5-condor;
We are in the process of rerunning the scalability tests that were run
using Alpha1 (http://dev.globus.org/wiki/GRAM5_Scalability_Results).
We'll produce a new report for GRAM5 Beta1.
We would encourage GRAM users to install and test this new Beta 1
