Location: Holtsville, NY Duration: 6 months Position: Technical Lead - Web Application Development Location: Burlington, MA Type of Position: Contract to Sasken Project: Browser R&D Project Duration: June 1 – Dec 31, 2011 with possible extension Number of Positions: 2 Main Responsibility Area: · Work in a team as mentor for rest of the engineers · Technically Lead a team of 5 engineers. · Design, develop and deliver .com web site for PC and Mobile platforms · Design and develop web client/site for PC and Mobile Browsers · Design, implementation and module test · Provide support for System and Integration testing · Documentation, including commented source code and SW- architecture documents · Taking care of the maintenance, once first client- deliverables have been released Core Skills Required: · 5+ years of hands on experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX. · Experience in developing cross browser Web Applications. · 3+ years of working experience using Java + Spring MVC + Velocity combination. · Experience using Maven. · Strong knowledge of Web Servers like Tomcat, JBoss. · Experience in building consumer websites using REST API, HTTP/JSON/XML, different Cache models · Experience in working with server side scripting, like PHP, JSP, etc. · Experience with Agile development. · Desired skill – JavaScript libraries such as JQuery, Dojo · Desired skill - Experience using Content Management Systems · Desired skill - Experience using Digital Maps and Maps integration · Desired skill - Appreciation of developing Web Applications on mobile devices · Desired skill - Understanding of CDN (Content Delivery Networks) Education: Bachelor’s Degree in CS, CE, EE (minimum). Masters degree a plus.
