These projects include .Net MVC web applications with an Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 backend and mainframe applications that have to be converted to the web using ASP.Net MVC while maintaining connectivity with DB2. This position may also be required to participate in mobile app development. Project Duties include requirements analysis, design, web application development, testing, implementation and leading/mentoring a team in the use of ASP.Net MVC, AJAX, JQuery and JQuery UI. Deliverables include architecture and design documentation, documentation that provides guidance for development to new developers, estimates for design and development and quality code developed on time. This position is needed for a period of 2 years. The candidate should have strong experience working in large teams that follow an iterative development process. This position is required to analyze requirements, design, develop and test using ASP.Net MVC, AJAX, JQuery and implementing design patterns. This position is required to have experience in working in a large enterprise, a good understanding of design patterns, designing domain models based on business requirements using object oriented design, using Entity Framework for developing the Data Access Layer, and developing ASP.NET MVC web applications using the MVVM design pattern, AJAX, JQuery and JQuery UI. The candidate should be strong in C#. The candidate should be experienced in using TFS for source code management and application life cycle management. The position will also be responsible for mobile application development. Knowledge of native as well responsive web app development if preferred. Familiarity with automated testing methodologies and continuous integration is required. The candidate should have strong communication skills and should be a team player.
