Job Description:
The EATM team is responsible for development of the user interface of the
Client’s fleet of ATMs and Electronic Banking kiosks (EBK).  This position
is on a team responsible for a wide variety of functions
in support of the ATM platform, including, building out the next generation
ATM platform.  This role is for a senior level Application Developer on the
build team of the Self Directed Platform (SDP).  SDP is a
new application within the EATM application portfolio and is the target
state technology for the client’s ATM / EBK platform.

As a Senior Application Developer on the SDP development team, the
candidate will perform various activities in support of the SDP development
team. The position will support the application by
participating in requirements gathering, functional specifications review,
completion of technical design, build activities relative to developing the
application, and provide support during all phases of
testing. Candidate will be involved in all phases of software development,
will work closely with SDP Business Analyst's, and vendor teams in order to
satisfy project requirements.

Responsibilities
• Represents SDP in architectural/infrastructure discussions
• Champions best practices by developing coding standards, performing code
reviews, and provide key process improvement recommendations.
• Analyze SDP developer toolset, drive improvements and also identify,
assess, and document technical designs for assigned projects.
• Perform risk analysis and offers recommendations for risk containment
• Provide guidance to business analysts and developers on how SDP works and
design principles that have been defined and should be followed.
• Has expert technical skillset across Java / J2EE and Database technologies
• Works with multiple vendors in support of the product  lifecycle
• Responsible for ensuring quality, on time deliverables for assigned
projects
• Works with vendors to transition deliverables to internal SDP environment
• Provides production support tier 2/3 type escalations for SDP
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics,
Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
• Must have hands-on experience with Java development, HTML, JavaScript,
jQuery.  5-7 years of experience in building Java/J2EE applications,
reusable components, and database objects preferred
• Demonstrated experience with producing efficient and maintainable code
preferred
• Must have relational database experience (Oracle, DB2, Stored Procedures,
etc)
• Solid understanding of object oriented design methodologies and J2EE
design patterns
• Must have experience working on large-scale web-based infrastructures /
applications with experience on both client and server side technologies
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of software development (SDLC),
languages, and methodologies
• Must have demonstrated experience in Web services
• Must have experience writing technical design specifications.
• Mobile and/or Tablet development experience a plus
• Experience in developing UI components using Java/J2EE tech or HTML
• Knowledge of developing Rich interface applications using CSS3, Javascript,
jQuery, HTML
• ClearCase, Perforce / Quality Center / JIRA / CruiseControl,
Hudson/Jenkins, GIT, Maven and Ant build Scripts
