We are looking to fill a “Unix System Admin” (Contract) role which is based out of Pittsburgh, PA with one of my client. 1. Designs, configures, monitors and maintains Unix, ESX, SAN systems to provide optimum performance and system availability. 2. Recommend, design, Install, and configure IBM AIX systems implementing LPAR’s, VIO servers, and HMC. 3. Design, Install and configure HPUX systems using Ignite servers 4. Design, Install and configure RHEL using kickstart 5. Design, Install and configure Sun Solaris 6. Design, Install and configure ESX servers and virtual environments 7. Design, Install and configure advanced Storage and SAN solutions. 8. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to system performance, network and storage. 9. Gather performance and data usage statistics for capacity planning and reporting. 10.
