Maybe you want to go to More... > TW > All and use your browser's search to find possible illegal characters. I got rid of a % symbol in a tiddler's title (on a fresh MPTW) and the problem seems to be solved. Nevertheless, the % doesn't seem to generate a problem on a fresh TW or on my old updated mGTD r8415...
