yo Lord, I can't answer your question directly, however this work-around might do it.
Why not use the quick add instead (and uncheck the 'open created actions' box)? It's a much faster way to add actions than clicking anyway, and they go straight to your lists without having to view the seperate tiddler if you don't want to. It's probably also worth pointing out that because mGSD is modeled on GTD, each action should have an assigned context. This is why using the +button opens the tiddler, so that contexts can be assigned. There are 3 reasons why you might not want this behaviour: 1. You are using mGSD as an inbox as well as a place to track tasks. 2. You have tasks that you don't assign contexts for. 3. You are clicking the + button from a context list already. If it is either 1 or 2, then you are using mGSD in a way that it hasn't been designed to be used. This isn't a bad thing, and I myself prefer to use mGSD as an inbox as well as what it's designed to do (this particular discussion has been had often on whether this should be part of the functionality or not). If it's 3, that may be a different story, and worth seeing if some change can be made whereby if the add new action has a context already assigned then it doesn't open the tiddler. Anyway, main point is, use the quick add. dmic On Tuesday, 15 May 2012 18:00:53 UTC+10, Lord Yo wrote: > > Hello everyone > Is there a way to prevent mGSD from opening new tiddlers when creating > them?
