I tried to install Gtk in my fedora core 4 for a whole day.But I always meet the same problem: when I try to configure GTK, it tells me that some conditions are not met ( the versions of atk,glib,etc are too old),but I have installed all the packet(libpnm,pkg-config....) of latest version which I download for www.gtk.org. I search informations from google,reinstall it again and again,and now I can not even logo in my fedora!!!!! So I ask you for help. What is the right way to install GTK(step by step)? Is there any easier way to install it( for exemple: install from the install CD of fedora)? Thank you very much!!!
