When I originally designed my GTK2 based app, I had difficulty getting the window to allow for resizing (smaller) by dragging on the edges/border of the window. It could always get bigger, but smaller was an issue. I managed to solve the issue by providing it with a minimal size hint like:
gtk_window_set_geometry_hints(GTK_WINDOW(window), window, &hints, GDK_HINT_MIN_SIZE); It was not an ideal solution, but it worked, however when I compile against GTK3, the solution no longer works and instead I get: "Gtk-WARNING **: Toplevel size doesn't seem to directly depend on the size of the geometry widget from gtk_window_set_geometry_hints(). The geometry widget might not be in the window, or it might not be packed into the window appropriately" Is there some new way of doing this? Or, ideally, a way to turn off the windows minimum size management and let me manage it? To clarify, for this project, I am not using any of GTK's automatic layout or sizing utilities. I have widgets that I manually size and position inside of a GtkFixed. _______________________________________________ gtk-app-devel-list mailing list gtk-app-devel-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gtk-app-devel-list
