I don't know about accented letters, since they are a part of the Windows version of ASCII. Try a real life UNICODE character, such as the one I have in my path, C:\My.\Images. Isn't is funny how Microsoft does things? It reminds me of McDonalds. At McDonalds, you can't just get a coke, fries, and hamburger, you can only get a McCoke or a McFries or a McHamburger.
