Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, I already do that and it still fails.
Doing tests looking for a solution I've omitted the GIR files generation and it fails while linking the library to the main program, so I'm doing something wrong with the Autotools (although everything works if the library is not installed) and therefore I think this question doesn't belong here.
